How do I install BrewOS on my espresso machine?

Installation involves replacing your machine's stock controller with the BrewOS board. The process typically takes 2-4 hours and includes: removing the stock PID/thermostat, rewiring existing sensors and SSRs to the BrewOS board, connecting the board, and setting up WiFi. Which espresso machines are compatible with BrewOS?

BrewOS supports dual boiler, single boiler, and heat exchanger machines. We support machines like ECM Synchronika, Profitec Pro 700, Lelit Bianca (dual boiler), Rancilio Silvia, Gaggia Classic Pro (single boiler), and ECM Mechanika, Profitec Pro 500 (heat exchanger). How does PID temperature control work?

BrewOS uses dual independent PID (Proportional-Integral-Derivative) control loops to maintain precise temperature stability. The PID algorithm continuously monitors temperature and adjusts heating power to maintain your target temperature within ±0.5°C. Is BrewOS safe to use?

What hardware do I need to get started?

How do I update the firmware?

Does BrewOS support brew-by-weight?

Is BrewOS open source?
